We thought to create for our Guests a collection of the most frequently asked questions to clarify the emergency situation that involved us all and help you in your choices.

When is the new opening date expected?
The new opening is scheduled for Friday 29th May, except for future new government provisions.
What effect does changing the opening date have on my booking?
If the start date of your stay is prior to 29th May, you can change your booking period to other dates by contacting our booking office, or get the refund of any deposit paid in case you cannot change the holiday dates and should cancel. On the other hand, if your arrival date is after the new opening date, nothing will change for you.
And if the opening will be delayed again and I will not be able to come?
In this case we will refund you the full deposit.
Can I change my booking for free?
Certainly, compatibly with our availability, it is possible to change the period, number of people within the maximum capacity of the accommodation / pitch, add or remove accessory services and change the type of accommodation / pitch. You will not be charged for any changes, however it is possible that changes in dates, housing units and additional services may cause a change in the total price.
Can I move my vacation to 2021?
Yes, if you wish to move your reservation in 2021, our booking office will transfer your reservation and the deposit already paid into a new reservation for the next season.
If I move my vacation in 2021, can I keep the discount linked to the 2020 pre-booking offer?
Yes, if you cannot come on holidays this year and you decide to move your 2020 reservation, to which a pre-booking discount was applied, to a new reservation in the same period for 2021, you can keep the same discount.
Can I cancel my reservation free of charge regardless of the period in which I booked?
If you have booked, or want to book, one of our accommodations or pitches with arrival by June 30, you can cancel your reservation up to 15 days before the arrival date.
If you have booked, or want to book, one of our accommodations or pitches with arrival expected after June 30th, you can cancel your reservation within 30 days before the arrival date. In this case, the deposit paid will be refunded to you completely.
When do I have to pay the balance of my holiday?
You will be able to pay the balance due for your holiday at the campsite reception during your stay. It is possible to pay in cash or by debit or credit card (VISA / Mastercard). Of course, if you prefer, you can also pay from home in
advance, before coming on vacation, by bank transfer.
What happens in case of no-show?
In case of no-show on the day of arrival, the reservation will be immediately canceled, the campsite will process the amount of the deposit already paid and no further payments will be requested from the Guest.
Do I have to pay an extra cleaning fee?
Cleanings of accommodation is a service already included in the price (for stays of at least two nights).
Romea Family Camping has always believed that the cleaning of the accommodation was extremely important and therefore a dedicated and adequately trained staff will clean the accommodation before your arrival and after your departure. We are also reviewing our cleaning procedures as requested by the latest indications and guidelines.
How are you updating to face the ongoing health emergency?
Our aim is to welcome our guests even in this troubled 2020 season, but of course this can only happen if there are adequate health conditions: the imperative remains the safety of everyone, guests and staff of the campsite.
The current scenario is constantly evolving, so we are monitoring the situation day by day in order to implement all the provisions that will be issued by the competent institutions regarding emergency management. We are already activating health and behavioral protocols to allow all our guests to enjoy the most their camping holidays, and we are also reviewing our procedures for cleaning and sanitizing the environments, to guarantee the highest hygiene standards and health and therefore the highest possible public health safety rate.
It will be necessary to wear masks or take special precautions during my stay?
At the moment there are no exceptional measures for our Guests. All possible precautions and sanitary provisions will be adopted by our staff to make your holiday serene and comfortable as usual.
